Why is this filter with Aqualen effective?
The filter cartridge is provided with Aqualen. This is a fibre that exchanges ions, made of the shell of coconut. This fibre is woven in with fine grains of carbon so that they stay in place and remain static. As it were, it's a water conducting matrix that exchanges ions (the ions being of the harmful kind) and contains activated carbon grains.
The ability of this active ion exchange of Aqualen is many times more effective than similar ion exchangers that contain resin, which is used in many filters.
This allows for a larger surface of absorption. Besides this, the filter uses grains of carbon that are twice as small as many other filters, which enables pollutions to be bound much quicker.
Are the filters effective for heavy metals and can they be used for every water hardness?
These filters connect 800 times more effectively with heavy metals than with calcium and magnesium (which cause hard water).
This is why the filters will work, no matter the hardness of the water.
Does this filter also protect against bacteria?
The filter contains silver ions that give off a low concentration of silver to the water, making it more effective in protection against bacteria.
What is the filter cartridge made of?
The filter cartridges are partially made of polyethylene and do not contain any solvents.
How do I know that the filter won't lose its working too early?
The fibre ensures that the water is flowing through the filter cartridge in equal measures. There is no loss of capacity because of the mix of Aqualen and other filtering substances; therefore the filter is evenly used.
What happens to the minerals in the water?
These filters ensure that the minerals remain in the water. These minerals give the water a specific colouring and also provide it with the possibility to exist in optimal energetic structure.
Without (any) minerals, water doesn't offer firmness, strength and doesn't absorb and emit life energy to its surrounding, which is the function of water. Primarily, it's important that the water has a good energy, which is what the vitaliser does. This energy is also what the body mainly reacts to and contacts with when the water is vitalised. That's why we always advise to combine a filter with a vitaliser.
If your water is very hard, then it's also recommended to de-calcify the water, which crushes the calcium and turns it harmless in case it was affecting your general health. The water becomes softer for the body, isn't as heavy and can be drunk very easily. Besides that, you won't be bothered by lime scale anymore and you can save on energy.
